I fly monitoring "system memory" (MemStatus by K. Reems Freeware)
Is that ram memory?
FS9 averages about 80-85% of my 1003MB system memory with peek at 98%.
What does that mean in terms of efficiency and smooth frames?

I'm not familiar with that product but yes, it's probably RAM -- because the total of RAM+Virtual being used by the system+apps at any moment would be reported as the "commit charge", the term for which is never left unspoken.

WOW, its barely at the edge of the cliff with 1 gigabyte I see. I have 2Gb so I wouldn't know how FS2004 performs there, I only tried FSX when I first built my system but gave up on it and didn't put 04 back on, more and more i'm getting tempted to install FS9 again with this crazy setup I got.
