About two weeks ago, I started having a wierd problem when flying any of my planes, straight and level flight. Let's say I'm cruising at 3000 ft. All of a sudden my plane jumps into a climb....like 2000 ft/min. I grab the joy stick and bring the plane back to level flight. Within a few minutes or less, the plane either starts climbing again or diving.
At first, I thot the problem was with the plane I was flying, so I switched planes. Same thing happened as before. Tried another plane....same problem.
So, I decided the joystick needed calibrating again. That did not solve the problem.
Unpluged the joystick from the USB port and flew the same plane using the number keypad. The plane flew perfectly....no climbing or diving.
Took the joystick apart and didn't notice anything out of place, etc.
A few hours later, I flew again and everything worked okay.....until about 30 minutes passed and then the climbing and diving started again.
Now I'm wondering if something is wearing out with the sensors inside the joystick or a bad solder connection on one of the circuit boards?
Curious if anyone here has had the same problem I'm having?
I'm using a Logitech Extreme sD Pro, about four years old.

Unplug the joystick . Take the bottom off the stick and make sure all the screws that hold down the circuit board are tight .
