Has anyone had any success getting the SAR2 panel, from hovercontrol's website, to work in the VC of the phionex jayhawk, also on hovercontrol's website?

I am able to get it to work in the 2D cockpit, but not the VC!

I also got it to work in Frank King's HH-60G Pavehawk, both in the 2D & virtual cockpit, so I am sure it will work with the jayhawk too!

If the Phoenix Jayhawk isn't a true FSX model, you won't "get the vc to work..." You can not mix-and-match FS9 and FSX models...

Thanks for your reply, however, neither of these items (the aircraft nor the panel) are FSX items. They are both FS9, being run in FS9.

That's an even worse scenario then. The virtual cockpits are part of the model. The model file either has one, or it does not. You cannot simply "add" one to a model.

Or, if the Phoenix Jayhawk does have a virtual cockpit, then the gauge polygons used must precisely match the ones used in another model. It is also quite probable that the names of the $pan entries are different. In fact, that could be the only problem...
