Scenery Question

I'm getting familiar with some of the scenery design programs AFCAD, RWY12. I want to add buildings and taxiways to an island airport. Right now it only has the runway.

I notice that when I placed all the items around the airport using the above mentioned programs and went to the airport I noticed that there are trees on the taxiway and in the parking area.

I see the texture around the runway is different from the terain further out were the trees are. My question is how to extend the texture around the runway so I can place building etc. around the airport.

If you have trees around then you need to create an exclude. to extend the airport polygon you need a tool such as Sbuider. SBuilder will also handle the exclusions. There are some tutorials on SBuilder on my site www.scruffyduckscenery.co.uk
