Is there a good manual that goes further in design help and tips and tricks in FSDS than the help file that comes with FSDS? Bob

I'm looking for a user's manual that goes into depth how to do pretty much everything in FSDS. The he;p file is not so hot. ONe example: Backdrops. Help tells how to load a bmp as a backdrop and then stops right there! I don't know whether to match parts with basic polygons or trace with temmplate mode and add points and - or what do do from there. Another... in template mode there is sweep - what I do after creating 1/2 a funky water tower :) - what is extrude? There is so much left out. Animated hangar doors... working on that one, but how to make it activate with an AC's radio!
On the lighter side... I'd like to make it when you taxi up to a fast food joint and teh place shows a guy selling you a sno cone! Oh well! Tutorials would be great, but doesn't Abacus have a manual?
Just learning FSDS. Some of my beginning stuff ain't half bad.... some is down-right awful! Gotta love it! Bob

There are sure to be some tutorials on www.scenery.org and there are people over at www.fsdeveloper.com who can help with FSDS.

Well, you have to try some things to find what they do.
Extrude does just that, it extrudes the template shape.
You use the backdrop as a guide for building parts for your own aircraft.

Sems like FSDS and everyone is hell-bent-for-election building aircraft! I'll leave that up to you serious guys who know what you're doing and stick to scenery. I tried the tutorial doing the pinewood AC..... I embarrassed myself! hahaha! Bob
