Just beginning to create scenery using FS 9 and FS Design Studio ver 3 from Abacus.

Would like to know how to make a convex roof for a hanger I want to create.
Thank you

Not sure exactly what you want, I have a hangar tutorial at my site, click the banner below and go to tutorials. Even if it's not exactly what you want, maybe it'll give you some ideas.

Your hanger design and mine are close. I only used a tube. On page 2 of your printout, I only have the half circle.

Two questions:
Is there a way to make the tube wall thicker in FSDS v3?
How can I make the tube solid? The sky is visible when inside the
hanger.
As I said, I am new at this.
Thank you for any help

All you've done is build the outside, you didn't build an inside. THe tutorial I pointed out tells you how to do both, but it only works in FSDS2. For FSDS3, you'd have to go a little further by creating your inside parts, shrinking them just slightly (to give the walls some thickness, like you're asking) and then create the extra polygons to fill the holes.

Well, that is "just my luck." I have version 3.
Appreciate you trying to help me. I guess I
have just hit the brick wall--again.

No, the process is similar. But like I said, you'll have to take the interior, scale it down a little, and build the extra polys to give the impression of thickness.

Andy, Thank you for your patience with me. Again, this is all new to me.
I am looking in the help files of FSDS version 3 to see how extra polygons can be created.
Just wanted to let you know I am keeping up with your help
Thanks again
