Has anyone designed a runway with slopes and was succesful with it without any flatten switches in the scenery config.

I saw this link and this is the runway in question. I wasn't sure if the meshes in FSX would conflict with a slope like the Courchevel LFLJ airport.

and I went to google and found these photos.

This is a beautiful design although not landable.

Sloping runways have been done in FS9 but mostly, I think using Gmax constructions. I am not sure if it is any easier/different in FSX.

Courchevel was done.. for FS2000 by Martin Reiffer

go to: http://fly.to/dash7 and click the "Courchevel operations" link.

to see a bunch of real-life pics and a FS2000 screenshot.

Apparently, because the combination of a DHC Dash-7 and Courchevel is so exciting the scenery has been updated.... but the catch is that it's payware. You may find some help from the guys over at Sim-Outhouse

is the direct link to one post about the dash-7 and here's a screenshot

I know that doesn't help you build the runway yourself, but it can be done and SOH may be another place to find help
