The Acceleration add on installed OK but my default 737-800 that has a Southwest Paint Scheme texture add on is not recognized now. How can I correct this problem. I suspect that the other add on planes may not work either although I have not tried the others.

You are talking about the "skins", right? I have a lot of skins for my FSX planes. When I upgraded to accel, they all disappeared. I had the same thing happen when I installed another piece of software, memory fails on what it was.
The only solution is to repaste all the "skins" into your air file. I did all the skins and then made a copy of each air file and put each in a separate folder by the plane type. As you add more skins to your plane, just be sure to update the copy in the "storage" folder. I also put the "storage" file folder outside of the FSX folder so I do not lose my settings again. If I lose the skins again, I can just copy the air file out of the storage and paste it into the plane folder in FSX.
Time consuming, but worth the investment.

Lots of default aircraft had their aircraft.cfg file updated and they were replaced with a whole new file. It also happened on the DC-3 but in my case, I am in the habit of backing up any aircraft I modify so I was able to get the extra textures back by opening the backed up aircraft.cfg file and the acceleration version and combined the two.
