I experienced something similiar also. This is how I was able to fix the problem. I'm not sure if you installed a panel to go along with it or not but if you did make sure its properly installed. If not go to the folder belonging to the aircraft that won't show up. Open the panel folder and the panel.cfg. Make sure that it points to a panel that exists. For example it may say "alias 737-400" since there is no 737-400 in FSX change it to 737-800 or any other aircraft. The same goes for the sound, make sure the sound.cfg points to a sound file that exists.

-Hope I helped,
Patrick

I'm sorry but it really didn't - I bought and installed the standard version of FSX, which contains all the airplanes that are available in FSX-Deluxe. Is is possible to make those additional planes available to fly in the standard version?

No. Go buy the Deluxe.
