Space Shuttle? reveiws?

Anyone have the CaptainSim Shuttle? Is it worth it, a fps hog, etc. Interested in flying it just don't know if its worth it.

The space shuttle is a very nice looking addon, but if you want hours of flying enjoyment, then this might not be what you are looking for. The shuttle looks stunning, inside and out, with lots of animation and eye candy, and without being too much of a frame hog. But most of the "flying" is done in a "slew" type mode, following a computer directed flight path, letting you take over just before turning final. I've done one good landing, and had many disasterous attempts. The flight model seems very acurate from what I've actually seen first-hand, and read about. I haven't read all of the documentation that comes with it yet, so maybe there is more you can do than practice straight-in landings, but it is a real beauty looking at it from the VC and from spot view. Very nice addon, and to me, it really was money well spent.
