downloaded aircraft not showing up in preview pannle

when i download a new aircraft it does not show up in preview panel- where you can normally rotate and mess with the planes. It flashes for a second then a white screen appears over the model. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

In the texture folder for the aircraft you downloaded there should be a 'thumbnail.jpg' file which is a picture of the plane. If its not there write the author of the repaint and ask for one. Or maybe there are some other pictures included with the download that never got put in the texture folder. Check the zip package and take another look

Even easier, just take a screenshot of your aircraft. Be sure it's in jpg format and the file needs to be named "thumbnail" Put that in the texture file for your aircraft and the plane will show up if everything else is correct. You have to have all the proper folders.

this is one problem but what i mean is in the 3d preview pannle, the plane model for a custom aircraft will flick up for a second then a white screen will appear over.

Turn off "Light Bloom" see if that helps.
