Ghost Airports

Well, I dont know what the hell i did...I have NO AI aircraft at all! Has anyone heard of this happening? KORD at 2PM in the afternoon not a single plane for miles......Please help me.....Also...I cant see damage!!!! A quick rundown of what I should be looking for as far as damage goes...Does the planes break apart? Rolling fireballs down the runway? I gotta know how....I've set all the Visual_damage=1 in the aircraft CFG's and have realism as High as I think i can get it. Detect crash and reset enabled, blah blah blah i EVEN DOWNLOADED "fire" , and that works! but no crashes...I know you've heard it all before, but I'm really frustrated!!!!!I just searched the Forum and came up with nothing, please help.

i had the no ai traffic problem and got fed up, so i just reinstalled fs2002 and then everything was fine. a bit drastic i know but it worked!

One or more of the following missing from the FS2002/AIRCRAFT folder can cause this (some installers delete them).

airlines.cfg
default.cdp
default.dp
kneeboard_keys.txt

Get them from your CD set and should restore them...
