Hi,

I was checking out my FS9\Aircraft folder today (186 folders of AI planes, user planes, AI boats...). I'd like to see MS put User Aircraft, AI aircraft and AI boats all in separate folders. I'm aware there are 3rd party programs (which I use) to hide AI aircraft from the aircraft selection list. As I modify panels, textures, etc., having the user aircraft separate from all the AI (UT, MT, custom AI) would make accessing those folders easier instead of scrolling through piles of folders.

Actually thats a good point. I would like to see the support for AI and NON-AI traffic ie pmdg a/c to be in seperate folders.

While we're discussing directory structure, it would be nice to have aliasing (or some form of relocation) for the main aircraft directory itself. Failing that, the idea above of a separate directory for AI/boats should probably be generalized to allow "hangars" within the main aircraft directory, that is, general subdirectories that the user can configure, so that I could have fighters in one, general aviation in another, AI in another, and even seldom used aircraft in another, or however I wanted to organize it, with the ability to navigate among these in the aircaft selection window.
