It's more than likely too late to keep adding wishes, but if it is possible, it would be nice to have parts of the airplane cast shadows on itself. For example, the wing of a skyhawk should cast a shadow on the fuselage under it, that moves with the position of the sun. Also, in real life, the 172 cockpit/cabin is much darker than a low wing aircraft such as a Cherokee, because of the lack of sunlight coming in through the side windows. Maybe even make the play of shadow and light move across the VC instrument panel.
