Microsoft will have to release something extra special in fsx to keep it's lead over x-plane in the graphics department.

Not too bad (anyone else check out those 4000+ pixel high-res screenshots?)

I have a feeling that the plan is indeed to make the next flight sim extra special. I guess we'll just have to wait for now.

I can't wait for the day when microsoft release a version of msfs that will allow me to see my house, land on my street in a piper cub, walk inside my house, turn on my pc to fly in msfs.

lol that way you can play yourself playing flightsim! But you will be playing yourself playing flightsim in which your playing yourself playing flightsim again!
Then in reality you get up, look out the window and a piper cub is parked outside your house.... lol

Because computing power is limited, then each time I go into msfs I can only play 1 version back. Therefore if I go play myself several versions back, I'll reach the FS1. I'll be traveling back in time. I'll shut down my pc to go play my Atari 2600. I might just send Microsoft a copy of the msfs from 30 years into the future to speed fs tchnology. But then when I shut down all fs to get back to reality, it'll be a different world.

That's impressive! I sure hope we get something like that or even better out of the box with FSX.

Hmmmm, what would the motto be then? "As unreal as it gets"?

They seem to have used a little more detailed mesh but I don't see a lot of difference. And all the screen shots are so dark I can't really make out much detail. I will admit the mountains look very nice and the sky has nice color.

Install a surround sound in your ceiling so you can hear yourself and AI flying over :)
