How about some really modern jets.

For instance, the A-380 is now here to stay, as well as the new Boeing Dream Liner. Those would make for some superb and awesome flight models. You could get some really nice gauge work going on them.

A 'Passenger View' mode for the big jets would be pretty darn cool. You could invision or 'see' what its like sitting in a VC 'area' down in the ship, (for those long flighs accross seas in VA flights). It could be as easy as just making a new 'view', a clickable 'passenger view' mode, similar to spot plane view mode, it would just redirect the VC site coordinates to a temp new location is all.

Also, just for thoughts, and I know its been done to a certain degree, but being able to fly some of the AI planes would be nice. I know they would almost have to be redone for modern standards, but the DH-8 for instance is a very popular sim aircraft these days and would make, I feel, a brilliant addition to the Microsoft hangers.

I realise that some of these exist in the 'download' world, but there are multitudes that dont realise these exist. I think thus that having them, perhaps even optionally, would create a sim that even more people would want.

Getting a passenger mode for FSX wouldn't be easy, the planes themselves are just hollow tubes, you can see the floor of the cabin, but theres no seats. To give passenger views someone would need to build the whole cabin.

Anyway, i still look for downloads with passenger views, there awsome!

since when is FS an airline passenger simulator anyway?
If you want to simulate being stuck in a metal pipe for hours at an end being served dry sandwiches at exorbitant prices, it's cheaper to buy some of the latter at a trainstation kiosk, build a large pipe section out of cardboard, sit down in it, and eat the sandwiches.
