When switching views, the upper right corner of the FS screen shows the name of current view for a bit after the view change is complete. For Spot and Cockpit, the time it is displayed is pretty short, but in virtual cockpit mode the message stays there for quite a while.
In adition, the green bar message across the top of the screen when opening and closing exits is annoying at times, especially when capturing videos.
I'd like to be able to change the timing on how long the messages are shown, or even turn them off completely. Hideinfotext will eliminate all but the exit open/close messages, but it also disables the SHIFT-Z display, PAUSE, etc. so it's rather inflexible.
So my change request is to allow these various information displays to be enabled/disabled individually, and the time they are shown (for non-manually asked for displays) to be adjustable.
This would particularly help when capturing videos/screenshots, and allow folks to get rid of annoyances individually.
Come to think of it, it would also be nice to have a command that would show you ONLY the current zoom level in your current view.
