Hi,
Yes, MS does read AND participate in, the major FS forums.
Hope this helps,
Jim

You can be quite certain that they are reading the messages here, and on a rather frequent basis too.

Well, it certainly makes it easy to find the discussion threads. There's so much activity here and on sites like AvSim that sometimes we miss stuff.

This is a great site for us flight simmers to express . And many good help problems get answered . Where would we go? if we didnt have sites such as this one.

Can't imagine what I would do without these forums. I've had so much help and try to share what I've learned when I get the chance.

Interesting indeed, this thread learns me the FSX forum already existed Nov 2005. What's the use getting these threads from under the dust?

Hopefully it will remind folks that this forum holds a wealth of information on about every conceivable aspect of MSFS and that a quick SEARCH of the forums will likely yield an answer to their question before they even need to post.

On a related note about forums, yet un-related to aviation... I learned about 90% of everything I know regarding automobile mechanics from message boards. I've never once paid a mechanic to maintain, change or fix anything on the few cars i've owned over the last... oh, 10 years.
These sites are infinite with knowledge - repetitive or not.

Its the second unintentional "revival" today and again done by a "newbie" with just 6 posts, Vulcan760.
The other one was by a newbie with just 2 posts. Coincidence? Having had that troller around Pen3 yesterday, I wonder...
Its easy to be confused and just answer the thread before realizing its dated. But the one to blame is the first person to do it, because he probably did a search or has the threads sorted messed up and rushes to answer a thread without realizing its years ago!
If your are new you can ask a lot, post new threads, but before you answer a thread to express your opinion or witt, please watch the date :)

What is neat is that you can go key in your 'subject' or 'problem' in Google, and it will bring you right back to here (or AvSim). The search for forum topics on this site may not be top notch but having Google do the searching sure makes life easier for ME. My 2 cents.

Wow, I didn't know that. I sat for about a half hour flipping through topics so I didn't repeat an old thread. (ha-ha)
But like it was said, I'm glad about this forum and appreciate all the help I get. I would be out the plane without a parachute without all the help I get here.
Thanks guys!
Keith
