What do you want to see in fs10?

I'd like to see all roads, rivers, and buildings in the world, all rendered in high detail. Every common type of aircraft with custom high quality sounds, textures and gauges. Extended ceiling that lets you fly beyond the orbit of Pluto. Full software for designing scenery and aircraft, mesh terrain, runways and taxiways...
Oh and the frame rate should never fall below 50.
You said what do I want to see, not what do I expect :)

I want to see a significant improvement over FS2004 and for it to be released.

Proper overcast layers and ATCs with accents, maybe British, German, French and Italian.

Just keep it as moddable as it currently is, so all the shareware/freeware people can continue to improve upon it.

Better VFR scenery for VFR flying. Also I wouldn't mind some space flights.

Proper ATC vectoring...especially for approaches. Gotta love the good ole' 20 mile final for your little Cessna 172..."Skyhawk 34 November, maintaim maximum forward speed for the Heavy Boeing seven forty seven in trail..." "Roger, we'll give you out best of 120!!!!"
Pathetic...Even long finals for commercial planes are annoying (ok unless they are daisy-chained down final...fine with me) No need for longer than 10 miles to get established...
I would also like to see more major airports with extra detail, US and EU, etc..

Maybe some proper star modeling so stars don't shine directly on the horizon, at least in well lit urban areas - especially at dawn and dusk. That is just sooo cheezy to me.

1. Better physics models. If I want to slip, I want the airplane to slip.
2. True stall characteristics. A cross-controlled 172, power on stalled is not going to just drop it's nose.....
3. Incorporate Google Earth and USA roads into FS
4. Better USA mesh (I don't typically fly outside the US, but I'm sure others do)
5. Better cloud modeling - Clouds aren't 2D and I should bust thru them instantly by going up a foot
6. Better ATC (as everyone else wants). Have ATC also call out airspeeds to maintain to help with syncing. Also, I shouldn't have to wait for an airplane on 5 mile final to land to cross the runway in my 172/bonanza.

I would also like to see some Piper's aircraft in the mix.

Instead of relying on third-party addons for real airlines, I'm pretty sure MS and Mr. Gates have enough $$$ to get the necessary licensing to include real airlines in the next version. I'm kinda tired of Landmark, Orbit, Soar, etc. Also, a cool detail would be to add passengers when you zoom in in spot view; you'd see the passengers in the windows, maybe even a stewardess walking up and down the aisle way. And the flight deck---have more than just two generic pilots sitting there. Some jets have up to 4 crewmembers in the cockpit. And lastly, for now, include the new A380 Airbus, as well as the current Boeings, except this time don't skip over any. (Example-737,747,777??? What about the 717's,727's,757's,767's?) The reason I'm focusing on the jumbos is because they are my favorite planes to fly. Oh yeah---better panel selections.Make em more like the real things,or at least as close as possible.

Better Helo modelling, I'd like to stand a chance of hovering and landing the things.

Go take some lessons at Hoversafe Academy. As an Advanced certificate holder, I can attest to the fact that their lessons work. Just check our the check flight required to achieve the Advanced certificate and you'll know what to expect.
BTW, the Bell 206 is my favorite default aircraft. I think the modelling is great although I don't have any R/W experience to base that on.
