I guess I have to come to the "Big Boys" to find an answer to this problem: You haven't failed me yet! :)

For some reason, Whenever I hit the checkmark on the panel to bring up KNEEBOARD, I am instantly met with a blank black screen while the program is looking for something... After a few seconds, it apparently "times out" and the program reboots from the beginning.

I loaded another kneeboard program from Livewire but the system is apparently looking for something that's not there. Perhaps I inadvertently deleted a guage or something? All of the other panel ICONS work perfectly and until just recently, the kneeboard did to....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated:

Thanks

Well..... Solved my own problem using one of Microsoft's Indian Tech Support folks!

Turns out that IF you download and install the new Internet Explorer 7.2 BETA (which I did) there are a few glitches... One of them is that it will cause FS9 to shut down the second you hit the check mark to access Kneeboard!

The fix is relatively easy:

Go to the root directory of FS9 (AFTER you install I.E. 7.2) and look for a file oleacc.dll and rename it oleacc.dll.OLD .
Kneeboard will now work!!! Hope this saves someone a lot of headache.

I'm having the same problem and have done the same thing with OLEACC.DLL to fix it, but the weird part is, I *haven't* installed an IE 7 beta. I still have IE 6 for certain things, and use Firefox 1.5.0.4 for most of my browsing. But a few weeks ago I started getting these sporadic kneeboard crashes when accessing certain checklist/reference files. So maybe one of the regular Microsoft updates did something that causes OLEACC.DLL to no longer play nice with FS2004.
