Panel installation question DC-3

I have a Qantas DC-3 repaint . I have successfully installed a photo-real panel from James Underwood . This panel has its own wingviews . However when I choose to view left or right the default window still appears .
Is there a way of removing the default cockpit view ?

The "default cockpit view" is part of the MODEL itself and cannot be removed. Well, not easily in any case since it involves hex-editing the .mdl file!

You can however, simply move your eyepoint forward a few feet in the aircraft.cfg file so that your "eyeballs" are forward of the cockpit walls...

Of course, doing that will screw up the virtual cockpit's viewpoint as well...
