Hi, I want to copy some gauges from the super 80 to another plane uaing fs panel studio, but whenever i select the gauge in question from the list it appears incorrectly normally back with Magneta (pink) boxes somewhere on the gauge. On the help i found this:
Gauge does not have a static Bitmap Resource

The Gauge file exists, but it doesn't internally specify a static bitmap resource. The static bitmap is the bitmap displayed on the face of the gauge when it's first displayed by the simulator. This is only a warning -- a gauge designer may choose to draw the gauge totally dynamically, using moving elements such as needles, or the gauge may only exist to supply a sound effect. Some Gauges may only consist of drawn text, and have no background bitmap.

FS Panel Studio cannot display the bitmap, but will display the Gauge as a magenta outline

The screenshot ive uploaded shows which gauges i want, box number 1 is the stall, master caution and warning lights i think, box number 2 is the GPWS and something to do with takeoffs, box number 3 is some lights which flash when i disengage the AP or AT. I'll have to change the sound files aswell for the stall and overspeed plus AP disengage i think, but dont know about the GPWS it should play by itself, just wondering if the Incorrect takeoff alert is also caused by the GPWS?
Just wondering if anyone knows whats going wrong and should i see if it works in FS? is it just Panel Studio's fault?
Thanks

Is the Super 80 a freeware or commercial product? Some commercial gauges are protected to keep them from being used on other panels.

If you have the latest version of FS Panel Studio, make sure the "Resolve all Gauge dependencies" is selected in the Options/Advanced tab.

Ah, never mind. I see from the main forum post that you are attempting to use the F1 Super80's gauges. They are - like most commercial gauges - indeed "protected" so you cannot use them elsewhere...

Hi, thats quite disappointing tbh. Is there any way around this? maybe deleting some of its code? Dont really know why they are protected its not the whole panel i want to "steal". Just dont like the FMC of the super80 and its loading times, using FSnav at the moment which is ok, bit poor with the speeds like trying to land at 250 knots lol.
