Hi everyone, I'm totally new to all this, so bare with me please...I really want to create some cabin views for my aircraft in FS using pictures from Airliners.net and other sites. I have no idea how to start doing this so all replies are highly appreciated...

1. Check the first few pages of Microsoft's FS2004 Panels SDK available from the download section of the main FS2004 website to understand the workings of the panel.cfg text file which controls the appearance of a FS2004 cockpit.
2. Check the panels folder of the FS2002 (I hope you still have this sim installed) mooney_bravo to figure out how the views are set up in the panel.cfg.
3. Be advised that all bits that should be transparent in FS (i.e. Windows) in a cabin view bitmap should be pitch black, RGB 0,0,0 and that if the plane you want to make cabin views for has a virtual 3D cockpit in the model you will also see this VC despite your cabin view bitmaps.
