The Merge is still available from my website...just go there by clicking the address under my signature banner. Click "Links" at bottom left and then click the RED text "Download Merge Kit".

I don't really support this anymore as the included FAQs covers all known issues.

I used your merge on my FS9 equipped machine until my hard drive crashed and I lost everything. It was very nice to be able to fly the ol' DF737 again. I've got a new hard drive now, and everything is up and running again. However, I did not reinstall the merge as I've purchased a second computer (used) with Windows 98SE on which I've installed FS2002.
The DF737 runs a bit slow on this machine equipped with an 875MHZ CPU and a TI4200 128MB graphics card. I contacted Lee Hetherington to see if his merge is still available, but he no longer has a copy. Also posted a request on the forum asking if anyone has a copy stashed away but so far, no responses.
Anyway, my questions are, will your merge work with FS8 (with modifications, of course) or more reasonably, can I just install the FFX737 and alias the Dreamfleet panel to it? If so, would there be any required modifications to the aircraft.cfg, the .air file and/or any others?

Hi Peter,

Nice to see more shots of the merge in action. I still fly her once in a while (whenever I get tempted to buy one of the newer 737's) and she satisfies quite well. I placed the RXP Jetline 2 EFIS into the panel and it works fantastic.

Thank you for doing all the groundwork to make it possible to use this wonderful Jet which really set the stage for everything to come.

I wrote the Merge with the FFX for FS9 and have never attempted it in FS8. The FFX737 is an FS9 aircraft anyway so I'm not sure that it would work in FS8.

I'm afraid I have not got FS8 on my machine so you will be on your own with this one. Why not just download the Merge and give it a try?

That looks very good Zane...I notice that the aircraft has correctly levelled at 6000 feet for the VALKO SID and is maintaining 250 knots. Even though you have set the cruise altitude of 15000 feet in the MCP. This shows that you have the Merge working correctly :) Some people have difficulty making it do that :+

BTW Peter you had mentioned that with the merge setting in FSUIPC for FS2002 you couldn't use FSMeteo. I have ASv6 (formerly ASV) and have found that it will work fine in conjunction with the DF737 merge and FSUIPC setting for FS2002. Now to find a model with a good VC to place the gauges in.
