Guys,
I just started seeing a very weird display/routing error with the SL320 GPS in the Cardinals. The first waypoint isn't really a waypoint, it's some random garbage, then the departure airport is the second waypoint. Since I can't go to the first (non-existent) waypoint, the ETEs, ETAs, and fuel plan are unusable.

Are you running FS2002 or FS2004? The SL320 will only work correctly in FS2002, if you are running it in FS2004 you need to download and install the update for FS2004 which will give you the default Microsoft Garmin GPS500.
Hope this helps,
Zane

I'm running FS02.

It's been a while but my first thoughts are to look into any other recent add-ons you have installed, especially anything with a new or different GPS or moving map display that might be interfering with data information. Also what flight planner are you using? If you are loading up an old flight plan you might try loading a fresh one up. Since I no longer have 02 loaded on my computer I can't go in a futz with it any to see if I can screw it up and find the problem.

The first time I saw this was with FSNav. I put it down to incompatibility at the time, but this most recent flight was done purely with FS02's inbuilt flight planner. The only other add-on I've installed recently is the DF C310 (with which I'm insanely in lust, BTW); think maybe the Garmin unit is interfering?

No I don't think the Garmin from the DF C310 would cause a problem cause I had the same combo when I was running 02. The kind of error you are reading is from a corrupted flight plan itself or the Cardinal's GPS screwing up the information from the flightplan. Have you added any additional gauges to the Cardinal panel? I can't remember if you said you had uninstalled then reinstalled the Cardinal but I would try it from a freshly downloaded file and just go through the F1 validation again, that way you know you are dealing with a current version with any/all updates known. Maybe something askew in the key files is causing the gauge to do this.

Argh.
I uninstalled/reinstalled the Cardinals (FG and RG both). The GPS now works. However, the 310's GPS is now doing the same thing.
ARGH, I say!
