Is there any way to get a high resolution bitmap for the Bonanza main panel from the development team?
Ever since I switched to 1280x1024 which is the native resolution of my LCD monitor, I've appreciated the cockpit panels that are released in higher resolutions than the FS standard of 1024x768.
The Bonanza is a great airplane, but the sawtooth edge of the 2d cockpit takes much away from the visual impact... An optional downloadable 2048x1536 main panel bitmap would be just wonderful... :-)
Is there any chance?

Sorry, Bert, this is not possible, as it would take too much time /labor.

Lou, thanks for the reply... that is too bad.
Maybe you can put it on the wishlist for the next Dreamfleet releases...

Bert,
you may consider running at 1280x960 instead. It is a true 4/3 ratio display and does not make your round gauges oval.
When doing so, make sure to configure your video card to not stretch the display to full screen, or you will loose the benefit of using this resolution!
Hope this helps!

My video card does not have that option... so I get to live with slightly oval gauges.. not really a problem..
Visually, in the real world, we see circles at an angle most of the time, so it does not look all that strange and my brain soon gets used to it..
For the RXP gauges, I correct the size based on a 960/1024 factor so they show up in the correct aspect ratio..

Lou, you are right, it is a lot of tedious work, at least when you do not have access to the original files.. but it sure looks better when flying! I doubled the resolution and used MS paint to fill in the jagged borders... see attached...
Luckily, FS has no trouble handling the bigger bitmap without any changes to the panel files!

Perhaps after the Baron, which is based on the A36, I will look at making bigger bitmaps. :-)
