VC questions problems

Question:

Rain textures are very ugly in VC. Is this normal or is there a problem. I often get very funny looking lines.

Also having trouble with some hot click spots, for instance I can't move the switch for the Flaps in VC mode.

This sound like system-specific video issue, so I would suggest checking the drivers you are using.

As to the flaps, you need to hold a left click and drag the handle, it is not a normal click such as a switch would be.

Anyone else care to comment?

As for the visual, I will try and get a picture, it's pretty useless without it.

Rain drop texture issue is likely related to your video card and/or drivers. Some ATI cards seem to have this issue. First, I would suggest updating to the latest drivers available for your card. Although the latest will not always fix something, it's a good bet. You can always roll back if needed. Second, if you're using stock drivers, you might look into using modified drivers, like the Omega drivers that are available at www.omegadrivers.net For what it's worth, I'm running an ATI X300 PCI Express card with the latest ATI drivers and rain drops are fine :)

There's also some nice replacement textures out there to replace the default ones if your interested.......
