For some reason the textures on the Cardinal go fuzzy in external view - If I zoom in on the plane they will clear up and look fine, but the next time I switch to external they go fuzzy again. I looked through all the posts and didn't find anything on this. Any particular reason? I'm using an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro btw. This isn't new, just never bothered asking before lol, just curious if it's something with my setup.

It's caused by the MIP MAPS in the aircraft textures and the way that FS handles MIP MAPS. First, make sure you have your Global Max Texture Size is FS set to Massive. This usually helps. Beyond that, the only way to completely take care of it is to remove the MIP MAPS from the textures using ImageTool. It's pretty easy to do and doesn't take that long.

try removing all the mips from the wing textures, if this does not work remove them from the fusalage, although this may casue problems when looking at the pne from a distance. i find tha just doing the wings is enough on my system.
