Hello all! :)
I recently purchased the A36 and am attemtping to install it. However, whenever I try to install the Reality XP Gauge Package everything goes "kaput".
Here are the two errors I get after installing the A36 and attempting to run it in FS (I get Error #2 during the XP Gauge install as well as when I try to load the aircraft in-game) :
-----------------------------------------
Error #1:
Fatal Error
Reality XP Garmin GNS 430 Ver. 5.0.1.0
Can't start the Reality XP Garmin.
Error: 9547
Code: 00000000
-----------------------------------------
Error #2:
16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\PROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVENT1.Dll
And installed Virtual Device Driver failed Dll initialization.
Choose 'Close' to terminate the application
------------------------------------------
The wierd part about Error #2 is that I don't have anything Symantec related on my computer. I used to have Norton Anti-Virus on my computer but a while back I un-installed it and erased all registry entries.
Can somebody please help me out? I really want to start flying my new A36 but these issues are like a girlfriend that won't shut her yap.
Thanks to anybody who may be able to offer a solution.
Btw, I am using XP SP1 and FS is a fresh install. All drivers are up to date and all my other games are running flawlessly. Hope this helps!

... and have no idea what to do. I want to reinstall the Archer III and the Bonanza. I am from Germany and my english isnīt very well. It seems for me, that I must forget all the newer aircraft from Dreamfleet with all of this Reality-XP-GPS-stuff.
First it was the Explorer-Probem. After hours i found in a forum the hint. The site, in the failure-Message was dead. Okay, the Explorer gap is fixed...
Now I have the Error-Problem 9547 and no idea. Here I found nothing.
I am not amused and think about to forget Dreamfleet-Aircraft in favor of Carenado.... as an old ever returning Customer from the days of the Archer II and the Cardinal onwards. I have nearly all of Your products.

Hi Andreas,
You don't mention which flightsim you're using nor anything about your PC system, but be aware that the RealityXP Garmin units use the Garmin Trainer which is a 16-bit application and not functional if you're using Vista64.
If yo'd like to tell us whether you're using FS2004 or FSX, and some details about your PC, we may be able to help.
Also note that when reinstalling the aircraft you need to re-run the downloaded e-Commerce Wrapper file, going online to revalidate your Key, not simply running a previously-extracted installation file.
Best wishes,
Alastair

and the FS 9.1. My System is an old AMD 3700+ based one, with 2GB RAM, and a little bit oversized ATI 4800 series Graphic board... But it works.
The Piper Arcer III is a Download-Edition and it seems, that I have used the the old extracted file... maybe the failure. Think the same it is not with the Beech A 36, because this is a boxed edition, one year old.

Hi Andreas,
For the A36 Bonanza on CD there shouldn't be any problems with the installation.
For the Archer III re-run the downloaded Wrapper if you still have it or download a fresh copy if you don't. Select the Reinstall option and "point" to where the apropriate Key is and enter the 4-number Code when prompted, then the purchase will be validated online and, once validated, a new installation file will be extracted and run.
In both cases the installations can be "poisoned" by the anti-virus software present, so this may have to be (a) fully turned off or (b) fully uninstalled before you can get a successful installation.
Also in both cases the supplied GNS430 requires the Garmin GNS430 to be installed and working - it should be able to be run outside of FS2004. If it can, there's no need to reinstall it with the aircraft. If you have problems reinstalling the Trainer (if necessary) let me know.
Cheers,
Alastair

I forgot one of the first rules befor installing new Addons!
My Anti-Virus-Program was always on! It is Kaspersky Anti-Virus. One funktion of Kaspersky Antivirus is, that the Modifikation of the registery is blocked. Think, this is the Point...
After I have understand this I have reinstalled both aircraft, the Archer III with fresh source... and it worked. Meanwhile I have "flown" both of the aircraft. Everything is fine and the functionality of the GPS is given
Alistair thanks for the help.
