Hi,

I have the latest version of Text-O-Matic (came with the A-36) and all of my Dreamfleet aircraft show up (A36, Archer, DC-9) except for the Cessna 310. I have the update to the 310 installed and it seems to fly OK. Any advice on how to proceed?

Hi Dale,

Open up Windows Explorer and navigate to \FS2004\Flight One Software\Text-o-Matic

There should be a folder there called Data.F1310 with an aircraft.cfg file in it.

There should also be a folder \Text-o-Matic\Aircraft Configurations with the following amongst others:

DF310.bin
DF310DXT.bin

Duplicate posting.

Interesting that the reply is timed before the original question ! Has the Forum just gone into Daylight Saving/Summertime ?

Hi Alastair,

Did a complete search, but cannot locate folder Data.F1310. Should I run the update again or do a complete re-install? I have my certificate number and order number from my proof of purchase.

Thanks for your help,

Dale

Dale,

I don't believe that running the update will add those files (although you could try). I believe those files are only part of the original install. So, you'd have to reinstall the 310, then install the 310 update, then reinstall the latest TextOMatic since the original 310 install will overwrite the newer version.

Kind of a hassle, I know, but about the only way to do it.

Thanks Todd,

That did it and really didn't take too long. It overwrote the new Text-o-Matic, but I got another copy from Flight 1 and everything is now showing correctly.
