View Full Version : A36 Radio Ident
Not sure if it's just me so I will ask. Have about 60 hours on the bonanza now, and have yet to get a morse ident on any of the radios. Are they broke/missing, or perhaps an oversight on my part during installation? If they are are indeed in the package pse direct me to the correct sound file and I will see if it got moved somehow. Appreciate in advance.
BTW, super aircraft, the noise ANR cockpit sound is priceless, along with Peter's suggestion to use the stock GPS as an option.

Did you pull out the switch on the NAV1 radio? And also hit the NAV1 button up on the GTX327 audio panel?
I am hitting the ident buttons on the VC and 2D cockpit radios...., they light up but no morse code. When I get back in the plane I shall try from the popup window, but, I believe I have already tried that before...
Ok I rebooted and loaded the plane, for whatever reason you have to hit the NAV1 and/or NAV2 button , and then ALSO pull the ident button on the radio itself to get the signal. I have never had to do both on any plane before that I can recall......If you don't do both actions, there is no signal. I just assumed that hitting the Nav1 or Nav2 buttons would turn it on :P.

This is the way it's supposed to work. You have to actually pull out the ident knob then press the ident button on the audio panel. One gives you the actual signal, the other gives you sound. This has been like this on every DF panel that uses this type of radio stack (and I think that's all the DF GA planes).
