Are there any thoughts to a Turbocharged version ?
On a separate topic, any thoughts on TCAS ?

It is easy enough to go into the aircraft.cfg file and modify the A36 for turbonormalization. There is a STC that allows this modification on the real A36. I modified the cfg file for the tip tank version to read as follows in the engine section:
[piston_engine]
power_scalar=1.11 //adj. for 300 SHP
cylinder_displacement=86.66
compression_ratio=8.5
number_of_cylinders=6
max_rated_rpm=2700
max_rated_hp=300
fuel_metering_type=0
cooling_type=0
normalized_starter_torque=0.02
turbocharged=1
max_design_mp=30
min_design_mp=1
critical_altitude=20500
emergency_boost_type=0
emergency_boost_mp_offset=0
emergency_boost_gain_offset=0
fuel_air_auto_mixture=0
auto_ignition=0
max_rpm_mechanical_efficiency_scalar=1.0
idle_rpm_mechanical_efficiency_scalar=1.0
max_rpm_friction_scalar=1.0
idle_rpm_friction_scalar=1.0
Don't forget to backup your original files.
Enjoy,

TC would also reguire some changes on the exterior model, so it's not on our list. Sorry...

Hello,
I am trying to make the changes to the Bonanza to incorporate the turbo normalized engine. When I copy and paste the edits noted below, my Bonanza loses a great deal of performance. Are these edits to be used in conjuction with Peter's turbo bandit .air file, or are they to be used with the stock .air file supplied with the aircraft. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks.

One happy "McLeland Special" Bonanza owner here :)
She's not far behind the Mooney Acclaim!

Thank you Mark...I'm glad you enjoy her. She may be a bit of a handful for some people :)

TC would also reguire some changes on the exterior model, so it's not on our list. Sorry...Well, the aftermarket turbonormalizer from Tornado Alley Turbo doesn't require an exterior model change, per se (unless the "owner" opted for the tip tanks, too).

Perhaps a compromise? Although I suspect that Peter's mod accomplishes this.
