I'm not having any luck installing repaints on the A36. TOM works OK in selecting the template but when I hit the "Create Aircraft" button the progress indicator stops about half way and TOM crashes with the message to send an error report to Microsoft. I have the latest version of TOM (downloaded about ten minutes ago) and it works OK with all my other DF and F1 airplanes. I checked the aircraft .cfg and it's adding the entries OK but somewhere in handling the template file it crashes because the texture folder is empty. The templates I downloaded were from the DF site, "Lou Betti's Blue & Gold "N865EF" Livery" and "N7255S" Liveries.

Hi there,
Well, the version of T-o-M installed with the A36 is the same as the one you can currently download from the Flight1 site, but I just tested both of them and they do work okay for me (I tested the Blue and Gold livery which I also downloaded to make sure I was using the exact same template you are)
I am puzzled why this would happen, especially halfway through...
Did you by any chance install T-o-M somewhere other than it's default location of FS9 folder\Flight One Software\Text-o-Matic ?
Other than that, I am clueless, but you might want to try and post at the Flight1 Support forum, since Tom, who makes T-o-M ;), might have a better idea of what T-o-M is trying to do halfway through.
Best regards, Elmar

No, it's installed in the default location as is FS9. The .cfg file is updated correctly and a texture folder for the new texture is created but it's empty. I even get the option to select the textures in the sim but the airplanes shown are blank (without textures). My guess is that the program is having trouble processing the textures since this is the only thing that it hasn't done.
I'll give Tom a try. Can't understand why it would happen with only one airplane. I use TOM for the ATR, Cessna 152, Piper Archer, Cessna 441 and Cessna 421 and haven't had a glitch with any.
