Hi everyone, hopefully you can help me solve a problem I'm having with the beautiful DF A36.

My right side view has a strange view angle...the horizon is much lower than the left seat view. This only occurs on the full panel view though...the landing views on both sides are correct and at the same angle.

Here are pics illustrating what I'm speaking about. Notice the right side seat you cannot see the horizon. I've tried raising the seat, but it skews the angle strangely. I figure there must be a setting in a config file that controls this.

Can anyone lend a hand with fixing this?

Thanks!

Hi Nathan,

Sorry to say this is within FS limitations (they never meant to have more than 1 forward facing view)

It is do-able changing the perspective for the right-hand view, but this will cause other, not immediatly obvious, issues and I do not recommend it.

Best regards, Elmar

Hi Elmar,

If I did want to play with changing the perspective, where is that done? I notice the screenshots on Dreamfleet's site have the perspectives the same height. Also, the LDS 767 has left and right side panels that seem to match viewpoints.

It's not a huge deal for me, but means I can't fly the plane from the right side panel which is a bummer :(

Is anyone else having this issue or is something with my setup? I'd like to try a solution if possible.

It's not a system-specific issue. It was done intentionally for reasons that Elmar described above. Because the many different forward 2D views and how they must interact with the VC, this is a compromise that must be made.
