A36- XP430

Great Aircraft loads and flys perfect except for the error message " Cant find the Garmin Trainer 430 Program Check Registry or Reinstall" . I have followed the instructions to the letter and reinstalled several times but no joy. The weather radar works ok. Any help would be much apreciated.

Hi Trev,

If you do have the Trainer installed, can you run it outside of the sim ?

If installed, where, precisely, is it ? In a "simple" location, such as C:\Garmin or a "complex" location, such as C:\Program Files\Garmin ?

Thanks for the prompt response, i cant get it to load anywhere have i got a corupt download? Every thing else works ok , i have followed Lou's Installation instructions to the letter but no joy.

So the trainer won't even open outside of FS? Do you have it installed in a simple directory like C:\Garmin?

If this is the case, I would suggest simply downloading the trainer from Garmin and installing it separately into a simple folder like C:\Garmin. You can download the trainer from here:

Click on "Free Simulators", then click on the 430 Simulator.

Also, your computer has a "C" right?

please go to your windows start menu \ Reality XP program group \ Flight Line 430XP DFA36

There is a document with information for installing the Trainer.

A copy of the TRAIN430.exe is also located in:

[FS9]\RealityXP\Common\Garmin Trainers\
