Hi, I've noticed in the 2D cockpit shots that the view is restricted to the right of the "left seat" (center panel) so you can't see all of the GPS, weather, nav and A/p unit. How does the rest of the panel come up? is there a pan feature?

Thanks.

It uses the same view type as all other DF products. The pilots view is right down the yoke. To see the right-side panel, there's a click-spot. Same way as done with the F1 ATR, too. Nothing unusual here:) Those panels pop-up separately, too, so you don't really even need to go to the right panel view if you don't want to.

Thanks for your prompt response Todd. I own both ATR and Meridian (among other F1 products)and while the ATR has a condensed view so you don't have to click around, the piper has the GPS unit visible and has an auto pan function ( when you need to access the full a/p unit). Is there going to be like a "condensed view" (our a zoomed out view) available in here too? Other than that, it looks fabulous, and I do enjoy the "real" view very much, that makes it so much more realistic.

Nope, no autopan in 2D. In the VC of course you can simply pan to the right to access everything else. In 2D you have left and right main panel views, left and right landing views, all accessed with an appropriate click-spot. The Garmin and radar can pop up separately and the entire com panel pops up separately. On the right side these are all fully visible.

If you haven't already checked it out, here is the preview page for the 2D interior so you can see what's up.

Here's a link to a sequence of shots I took on a recent flight from Palm Springs to San Diego.
