I purchased the C177 in August, 2002. I was able to successfully install it and run it in FS2002. Now that I have upgraded to FS9, I was able to install it in that program and it flies just fine. I wanted to install the Turbo upgrade, and downloaded the correct file C177dual.exe. When I went to do a re-install, it wanted to place the aircraft in a directory for FS2002, which I no longer have. When I tried to change the directory to the one for FS9, an error message came on that my key was invalid and the install path was invalid, even though key is recognized for an FS2002 path and I am a registered user. This has been verified when my internet connection is established and a message appears that I am the registered owner for the Cardinal.
I can't recall the credit card number I used to purchase the Cardinal and do not have the order number saved, as I have done with other products such as the 727, 310, and 152. This renders it impossible for me to get a duplicate key in the event I corrupted the file by accident, which I don't think happened.
Is there any hope for me, or am I doomed to have to purchase another Cardinal 177 if I wish to use both versions in FS9?
