Hi all,

I had GA727 v1 and was really happy with it. When I saw v2 I was naturally curious as to how you planned on upgrading such a wonderful product. Now I've never, ever had a problem with anything from dreamfleet (since GA737 for FS2000) or flight1 for that matter but right now I am more then a little upset. I know it has to do with the wrapper but I'll damned if I can figure it out. I've turned off all of my anti-virus stuff, all of my anti-spyware stuff and when I click on the .exe to reinstall GA727 v2 my cpu gives me the dreaded blue screen and reboots. Now, here is the kicker... I no longer have file and file folder icons on my desktop or any where else for that matter. The wrapper itself is causing my cpu to reboot. If there is some way to resolve this I would be much obliged.

FYI: I downloaded and tried 3 different installers and verified the intergrity of all 3 and all was well with the download.

I've advised Steve at F1 of this post.

Thank you Paul,

I apologize if I was a little heated in my last post, I'm kinda going through 727-withdrawal. I flew my original DF727 pretty much every day or every other day.. If only I could log real time...lol I'm just frustrated that's all. I appreciate all you are doing.

Jonathan

FYI If I have the .exe (without the wrapper) for my ATR can I move it and all the licenses and everything and install on my newer cpu?

I'd always recommend installing from the wrapper (red aeroplane)

No, you cannot move exe's from one system to another. If you're going to install on another system, it MUST be from the original download file and you must be connected to the Internet. You must also copy your original key file onto your new system, too.

Ok that's what I thought I was just asking. Any word on Version 2 of the 27?

Please check your WindowsXP Event Viewer "Application" tab and post here the contents of any related error message.

Where do I look for the Event Viewer?

It's in the Control Panel - Administrative Tools

Hi all,

I'm back in town and I tried again but no luck. It killed my system and rebooted it again. I did get this in the event viewer under the source e1express. Hope this helps.

Intel(R) PRO/1000 PM Network Connection is set up for auto-negotiation but the link partner is not configured for auto-negotiation. A duplex mismatch may occur.

I don't know what that can do but there it is.

Crash Hawk - i just had an idea in that are you installing version 2 after deleting version 1 completely? just maybe worth another try :-)
