I use PSP 7.0 and when I open up the paint template in paintshop
format I can see all the layers but I am un able to separate any of them and I cant remove any of the layers . Any Suggestions .
I am very familiar with these type of templates. I painted some
a/c for the ATR, Eastern Express and the Northwest Airlink.
Id love to do some work on the 727 but I cant seem to anything with the template. Could I have gotten a bad template. And No the layers have NOT been merged together. Any help apreciated.

Not sure. I use Photoshop and the template works as it should. Not sure why it would be any different for PSP. Maybe someone who uses PSP will jump in with a suggestion.

No problem over here PSP 7. However just looked in to it and PSP reports 260Meg file. Maybe a resources problem?

Am having fun with the Textures here. :)
What used to be a robust workstation with 512MB of ECC RAM is brought to it's knees with the DF template. Also being a big fan (no pun intended) of PSP7, have saved the PSD file (Photoshop) as a PSP (Paintshop) and the file is much smaller on disk.
With a 400MB footprint the pagefile can grind unless one has 1GB of RAM. To work around this issue, delete out appropriate layers and save a separate DF-100_template, and DF-200_template as seen below.

Also, a quick look at filesizes for texture conversion. It may help with older and slower
hardware to reduce bitmaps by a factor of 10x to 40x. :)
