.....at least that's what I was taught ;-) It amazes me even more how this was implemented in the 727. I have quite a few FS airplanes (freeware + commercial) but not a single one simulates this theory as beautifully as the 727.

While I've never flown the real one, with the exception of a jump-seat appearance inside an old Pan Am at Sanford ;-) it so reminds me of holding short at 9L in my old rusty yet trustworthy 172 when those loud and heavy 727's came in and shortly before touchdown gave it some more power, not to land inside the displaced threshold.....;-)

Kudos to the development team again and the beta testers that (I have a feeling) bothered the ##### out of FDE designers during development ;-)

Believe it or not, I have yet to start from cold/dark, because I didn't have the time to read through the manuals, and more importantly to understand what's in there ;-)

Keep up the great work Dreamfleet,

Pete

Pete,

Yep, we were the peskiest bunch of guys and drove the FDE guys barzark. But the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and this one tastes just great!

Thanks for the kind words on our efforts.

Best
Clay
