Hello everyone. I'm back again - I'm hoping you guys can help me out there - I'm thinking of buying this plane. I need to know for sure though if the Go-Flight 45's module for the Auto Pilot Function will infact turn the heading knob on the Horizontal Situation Indicator with this bird. I want one that will be compatible with this - I get aircraft, and only become disappointed when I find out they don't work with my Go-Flight Gear. I use that so that when ATC tells me to turn to a heading, I set it. Can you guys please help me out here and see if it works on yours if you have it? Thanks! (This is the only way I'm going to buy it this time if it does)

I, for one, am sure glad I am not your car dealer or the doctor who has to do the exam on your colon next week ...seems to me you are not familiar with the quality of a DF product..just buy it...and you will become a big supporter.

I don't use any GoFlight equipment, but keep in mind that Flight1 offers are 30 day money back guarantee on the software:)

Hi,
On the autopilot, two thing work, Heading selection and Course selection. The vertical speed knob does not work. This is understandable because the 727 autopilot has nothing to do with the default FS one.
The heading and course are actually the most pleasant to use with GoFlight especially when doing DME arc.
In my opinion, it is fun to use the autopilot with the mouse because it gives you the feeling to use the real thing, so using my GF only for heading and course is fine with me.
I also got disappointed at some add-ons because they were not compatitble with the GF MCP (or GF45 in your case, used with the autopilot functions) but I decided that this should not prevent me from getting those planes. For instance the ATR is great, even if none of the autopilot function work.
So, make yourself a treat and get thie 727....
Have a nice day,
Olivier

Don-
I have bought their stuff in the past and love it - I just want to make sure because I know with some aircraft things don't work after spending the money on it - I'm not bashing here - just curious, but thanks - I kind of find that a little amusing the way you put it - I kind of think I'm glad I'm not too......:-lol

Thankyou Oliver - The main question was answered - the heading selector! I'm deffinatly grabbing her. I was disappointed when Captain Sim's did NOT work. At least now, one of my favorite aircraft will.
