FE Panel Background Lightning

Hi there !

Ist there any way to switch on the Background Lightning for the FE Panel only ? I mean without Flood ? The Switch for the Background Lightning on the FE Panel seems to has no function...

The FE floodlight is not modeled with separate controls even though there is a separate switch on the FE panel for it. Both the FE floodlight switch and the one on the overhead will turn on floodlighting for the FE and main panel regardless of which switch you use. As far as gauge backlighting for the FE, there should be a switch for that on the FE panel. I don't remember off the top of my head if it's on the lower or upper one though.

Hi !

Yes, there is a Switch "Background Lighting" on the FE Panel. But nothing happens when i switch it to on. The Gauges on the FE Panel are still dark.

Any Idea ?

The FE panels are floods only. Basically, giving each panel it's own seperately controllable lighting was creating a big drain on the PC so we had to scale it back a bit in places.

With regard to the FE panels, as most of the work is done in FS before take-off and after landing i.e. when the cockpit is most typically lit with the floods, we decided to light them that way.
