Hello,

I think V speed calls by PNF is very very important. I understand the GA727 Development is over and adding extra features can be difficult. But I'll be very happy if I can hear this calls. At least a beep sound if same person voices can not be reproduced..

Hi,

Aural V Speed calls are not mandatory and quite a few operators don't use them. The aural calls are for confirmation only and not commands. The PF is ultimately responsible for knowing the V Speeds as well as watching the airspeed indicataor as part of the instrument scan during takeoff.

John,

Thanks for quick reply.

I must admit that I'm not looking for an automatic V speed calculator gauge. I agree, Pilot Flying must know each V speed and use it at his/her discreation. i.e. If you passed V1 and just heard a windshear alert, you probably won't rotate immediately at VR if you still have 2 or 3 thousand feet usable runway lenght. By the way, this is first time I learned there is quite a few operators don't use aural V speed calls, it's very interesting and I wonder why they don't call V speeds.

What I want is to hear a V Speed call/beep at passing V1/R and V2 BUG's wich I already set before departure. I want it because it's a bit difficult to scan ASI and Watch outside at same time, if it's a windy day it's harder. May be it's just me..

Can I suggest purchasing FSHotseat? This recognises most aircraft and gives u a virtual pnf, who will always call out V-speeds, admittedly they dont' always get it right though but hey is a human perfect?

The new version of FS FLight Keeper by Aerosoft has callouts as well. It's a very robust program, I mainly just use it for the logbook features but it has a full weather flightplanning, AI monitoring and a LOT of other features, including callouts, cabin sounds etc. Now I'm not sure if it will do V speeds so you may want to look into that first.

Guys, thanks for advives. But I can't use anymore programs!!:-irks

Humm, First I start SBRELAY then FS Skyfworld 2004 to start FS9. Select Flight, default then select 727. I'm just beginning now, load AS2004 while I'm building a route via FSBUILD. OK, Now it's time to start SB HOST and Squawkbox, load flight plan, send it etc. And Flight Recorder (We have our own Flight Recorder utility at www.flythy.com, we fly only at VATSIM as a company policy)

Never ending setups.. Each time I fly, I spend at least 15 minutes for preparations, and I can't use any more programs! :-)
