Another Cardinal Update question...

Hello DF Guys!

I have a quick and I'm sure lame question regarding the Cardinal Update, lol.

I'm not sure if you remember my post a while back but I had mentioned how the Cardinal Panel cuts through the windshield on the front-left side and was wondering if it would be possible to possibly "add a fix in" for this issue as well since the Cardinal is "undergoing renovation" for FS2004 anyways? I know it a tiny thing that most probably don't even notice but I thought I'd ask now since the Cardinal is being worked on anyways...kind of a "kill two birds with one stone" kind of idea. :)

Besides that, I'd really appreciate it!!! :) :)

BTW, I just bought the C310 and the Archer and they are excellent!

Hi Shane,

Yes, I do remember it, but since it is such a minor issue, we will not be fixing it UNLESS the update requires us to update the aircraft models. If it does, then we'll fix it, if not, the cost of bandwidth for providing two aircraft models just for this would be prohibitive for a free update. There is a chance we may need to update the 177 models (the VC part actually) for FS2004, no promises yet, as we still have to look into this, so you may get your wish, then again....

For now, just consider it a realistic winshield anomaly that can often be found between windshields and glareshields on older aircraft. ;-)

Thanks for buying the 310 and Archer, very much appreciated. We're working on the Archer update right now, and it will be followed by the Cardinal update. :-)
