Can 734 autospoiler arm be set by moving the lever to the arm position on the throttle quadrant, or does the key command have to be used?

Hi Scott,
to arm the spoilers for landing configuration is very easy: Just click on the spoiler lever at the throttle quadrant and You will see a green "spoilers armed" on the main panel.
Do not try to move the lever in the "arm" position, just click on it.

Scott,
I have just made a test flight, and it is possible to move the lever. You just have to mode the lever(if you have a joystick with a free control, like my CH Pro USB Yoke, I use the Propellor Lever) Just move it where the spoilers should be armed automatically, and if you reverse on touchdown, they will deploy. Trust me, I just did a landing with it.

To arm the spoilers on the throttle quadrant, left-click the tip of the spoiler handle. A green "Armed" annunciator will light on the main panel. You can move the spoiler handle by clicking and holding the base of the handle, then dragging the handle backward or forward.

Thanks all. I have spoilers assigned to an axis, and was hoping there was some way to arm them with just that, but I guess I will have to figure out a button to program spoiler arm into on my stick or open the throttle quadrant when necessary.
