active runways

I have a few Q's.

1. Is there a way to change the active RWs on FS?
2. Is there a list somewhere of which ones are active by default?
3. Is there a way to have them picked randomly?

In the real deal, do you always know which one(s) are active before you get there or do you just find out from ATC? Seems to me that the faster you're moving, the more you'd like to know which RW is active before you try to land on the opp end.

Runway selection is currently a simplistic process in FS:
1: The longest runway is always the one in use
2: Runway selection is driven by wind direction
3: There is no way to influence runway selection other than by changing the wind direction.

However, if you know winds at destination and the appropriate charts you can use Sherlock Holmes-levels of deductive reasoning to figure out where you are going to land...

Makes sense. I remember reading that weather determins which one is in use, but I wasn't sure FS actually followed up on that. Thanks!
