This has probably been answered before but I have not looked in this forum for a while and I was just wondering if there is some way I can help my frame rate when I am landing. For example when I get about 200 ft from touchdown and it gets really slow, about like watching the altimiter on the 747, and hard to control and most of the time results in a rough landing which would leave my imaginary passengers shaken. Any way I can help this?

Thanks
Chris

Use FSUIPC to bring the surface layer visibility down to, say 5 miles at 500 feet QFE. That might work.
Or turn off/down the ATC - that WILL work.

Or pull some of the scenery sliders back - autogen is no longer relevant at 200ft on short final, so you could turn that down.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-02-02 AT 02:46PM (EDT)[p]Do a search, as there was recently a post on this. Microsoft compressed the gauges of the 747 and the Baron. You can get replacement (uncompressed) gauges that look EXACTLY the same, but your PC doesn't have to spend time uncompressing them. This should help...
