When I finally get some free time over the weekend to settle into the beautiful 737 for a flight, my son tracks me down screaming "PLANE! PLANE! PLANE!" He always has to pull up a chair beside me and watches the action. His favorite part is when I switch to wing view during a bank. He tips his head and yells "WHOOOOAAA!"

Lou, I think you have a future customer in the making! ;-)

John-

That is awesome!!! My oldest daughter, who is just about to turn 3, is the same way. Although sometimes we have to fight over who gets to fly. :-lol I even take her plane spotting with me.

Whenever we are together, she has to point out the airplanes, and whenever she is just with her Mom, she points to the airplane and says, "Daddy" as if indicating that is me up there. hehehe Gotta love 'em, eh?

Great pictures!

I am thinking about getting a CH FlightYoke like that. Now can you pull the wheel out and in to make the plane go up and down or how do you work that?

Yes, Andy, you can push and pull the "yoke" to climb and descend. :-)

It is not the best yoke out there, but I really think that for the money, it can't be beat.

My four year old likes to crawl up on my lap just as I'm on final and declare, "Mom, dad's crashing the airplane again!"

Hmph...know-it-all kids :)

Ian can get so excited about flying that his little hands want to take the controls and push all the toggles. Unfortunatly he hasn't read the official DF Manual that comes with the aircraft!

It's amazing how fast all the blood can drain from my face upon hearing the landing gear being raised as I'm passing over the numbers! :-lol :-eek!

My daughter (almost 3) doesn't care about the 737 when I'm flying solo but if she senses that I'm on VATSIM, she want's to participate an fly the plane. I putted a second joystick and headphones near me to solve the problem.

I'm getting a hard time trying to explain her that the real ones that pass over our house are not the same that she sees on the PC screen.
