The freeware FSBuild program will give you routes that contain airways.

FSNav4.5 is good for this too. It gives a great view of high and low alt jetways and intersections and is handy for entering flightplans into the FMC.

Maybe overkill .. but here is some additional route planning info for you.
FSBUILD is an EXCELLENT program for point to point route planning ... well done, supported and easy to use. You can also try http://www.asalink.net/davideg/rfquery.html for a net based point to point route planner. The MSFS Flight Planner really works well and also provides, GPS, LO Altitude, Hi Altitude and VOR to VOR routing ... always works for me ( and it is MAP oriented)
But .. if you really want to SEE what you are doing, I have two suggestions for paper maps which you can buy (invest):
1. NOAA HI/LO Altitude Maps for the US, and US Dept of Defense HI/LO maps for Europe, Carribean, South America, Pacific, Asia etc. I buy these at Sporty's Pilot Shop .. do a google search because I can't remember the URL ... cheeeeeep stuff.
2. Jeppesen (www.jeppesonpcpilot.com I think) ... has Lo Altitude maps for the US and Europe and approach plates for the rest of the world for airports with runways > 6000'.
I usually go to FSBUILD and the Route site .. and do two routes, then go to the maps ... (a tad obsessive maybe ... but I like route planning). With the maps you can see the SID/STAR entry and exit points and all the waypoints that make up the route ... in the event you are using the PSS 747 or 777 which don't support "route" via/to entry.
I am sure there are even more sites .. but these are the two that I know about which have the hi/lo route maps
Good Luck!
