Hello,

I run :

Win 98
GeForce II MX 200
P III 450
FS2002 (I've downloaded the patch)

I bought DF737-400 and I've found out that there are some problems and alot of questions that i need to ask.
My worst problems are that the game crashes during the flight!
It comes back to windows and nothing works so I do reset.
But from that problem I don't care... My biggest problem is that I cannot press the VNAV, LNAV, VOR LOC, APP. I do not know why, everything seems to be alright, I put my mouse on the button and press and nothing happens! I don't know if it is my problem or is it the FS2002 problem or DF737 problem or I did something wrong.

That was one, please answer it, it means alot to me.
and the second question is if I make a Flight Plan in FS2002, and save it into my "myflts" folder, and then choose the flight from FS2002 and then while I am on the ground I activate the FMC and use the "Import" option to import my flight that I made with FS2002 Auto flight planner so I wanna know, will it work goood (Due the complexity of the panel, FMC is an outside program)? I though that this could be my problem, the fact that I am loading flight plans into FMC.

Please reply or send me to another thread regarding to my situation.

Thanks in advance,
Dan Bendori

Hi Dan,

How much memory (RAM)in your system? Also, what kind of video card and memory?

A 450 PIII is bare minimum to run the 737, so unless you have at least 256mb of RAM, and a 32 or 64mb video card to back up that processor, you are going to have problems, no doubt about it. ;-)

I have 128 RAM and a 32 MG video card, but I don't think it got anything to do with the fact that nothing's happening when I press LNAV VNAN and the APP.

I've read the manual, and still the button just won't be pressed!

I don't think it got anything to do with my computer, any other suggestions?

I am running a P3 450mhz, 128MB and ATI Radeon VE DDR without any problems in the running

Set your fs sliders to medium and i get 15-20fps and everything is very nice lets hope my new system that with max i get 30+ LOL

I cannot see what wrong with your set-up really, but mabye try re-installing the original DF737 setup then the patch to the FS2002 directory.

Oh, this is a good emoticon :-irks

Concerning the A/P, etc. You cannot engage the autopilot on the ground and you must be at least 400ft AGL to engage the A/P (CMD A).
